Pfsense Download Old Version
Hey thelanguy, so earlier today I went to one of our local computer stores and bought a new Intenso USB stick. I opened Rufus, chose DD Image and pfSense-CE-memstick-2.3.4-RELEASE-amd64.img and wrote to the stick. I inserted it into the USB 2 slot of the mainboard and boom, 'no boot device detected'.Then, just for fun, I downloaded the Slacko 6.3.2 Uefi iso, did the same with Rufus and, lo and behold, Rufus created a file system, copied the files and the router/pc found the stick and I could have booted from it.So.

The USB stick works. It must be the pfSense iso. I then downloaded the 'normal' iso, but after scanning the image Rufus says, this image is either non-bootable or it uses a boot or compression method that is not supported by Rufus.

Sure, I should use the memstick version, but still, that also doesn't work.Then I tried the tool USB Image Tool, selected the packed archive with the memstick image inside (without unrar'ing), wrote to the stick. But yeah, no boot device found. It's just annoying.
